The meticulously restored manor house, where we had the privilege of a guided tour by its owner - Dr. Délia, a very friendly lady who welcomed us so well.
A stroll through the gardens or a dip in the pool are not to be missed.

We liked the kind way we were greeted, the manor house full of history and its agricultural areas and gardens, and finally the beautiful swimming pool and its surroundings.

We stayed one night at Solar de Almeidinha and we loved it. The manor house is very beautiful, very well restored and with all the amenities. Around the manor there is a beautiful historic garden which is very well maintained. Throughout our stay, we were greeted and treated with great warmth and affection by both the owners and the staff. The room was large and had a small pantry that was very well equipped with everything you needed to make a small meal. When we arrived, there were cookies, water and a welcome liqueur waiting for us. These details definitely make a difference.
Solar de Almeidinha is a place where past and present come together and enchant.
Our stay at Solar de Almeidinha was a lovely surprise, not least because we didn't know the place.The room, rebuilt from an old stable, is very good, spacious, well decorated and clean.The breakfast is very good, without any waste, but absolutely composed and varied, with fresh food, very good compotes from the manor itself (which you can buy); the pool area is very peaceful, comfortable and beautiful; the gardens are very pleasant and there are books in two libraries that can be consulted, as was my case. The staff are very professional, careful and friendly. I highly recommend it. There are two very good restaurants in the village.
